A little about Cape Elizabeth...

Cape Elizabeth is a scenic and friendly town in Cumberland County, Maine. The town was officially incorporated in 1765 when it became Maine's twenty-third town, after separating from what was then known as Falmouth. Cape Elizabeth has seen a gradual growth in residents over the years, and today is primarily a bedroom community with a majority of residents commuting Portland for work.

This oceanside town is known for its scenic beauty, and the abundance of opportunities for outdoor recreation that come along with it. The Cape Elizabeth Land Trust, a private non-profit corporation within the town, has established permanent protection of more than 500 acres of land. Among these are 22 separate parcels for public use, and most contain part of a large system of connecting trails for pedestrians to enjoy.
